Electronic Cord Storage “Simple Solutions”

Do you have that drawer at your house that is wire mayhem?  Are you always looking for a cell phone or Ipod charging cord?  Better yet, is someone in  your house always yelling “mom where is my race car charger, PSP, DSlite, ear buds or camera cable?”  Seems that everything these days comes with some type of long wire for charging, listening, or data transfer.

Finding those electronic specific wires when needed is the challenge, organized storage is the answer.  Solution?  Buy or re-purpose an over the door clear pocket shoe storage bag.  I like this one from Organize.com

organizeeverything1_2046_5519811591Use a label maker or a sharpie marker to assign each pocket to an electronic device.  The clear pockets allow you to see exactly whats in it.   Plus the pockets are large enough to hold electronic games when it is time for them to have a time out in mommy detention!

Ours hides out of sight on the back door of a hall closet  near enough to the kitchen for those continous lessons on how to put things away when you are done with them.
