While I am now working on my third project with Allison, the one dearest to my heart is the expansion and renovation of our 1942 vintage family cottage. I had dreamed of doing this for years, but was frankly terrified by the challenges of melding the old with the new, and worried about losing the special character of our much loved cottage.
Allison clearly understood what needed to happen, and we set to work. Her vast knowledge of and access to furniture lines and fabrics allowed us to mix and match to get just the right lakeside look. She taught me so much about color and transitioning from room to room. The result was breathtaking - the before and after photos astonishing, and best of all, my family loves the welcoming comfort - we spend every spare moment there.
